The head of Yurikawa South, he had challenged Hanaki Guriko three times and lost.
He is an old friend of Yamaguchi Ranmaru, who told him there was a new monster in Suzuran named Tsukushima Hana and that he should stay away from him. That was enough for him to go after Hana, but even after fighting Guriko three times, the first time he ran away from an enemy was against Hana.
He later learned from Sera Naoki what was hapenning in town and decided to help Hana from the sides.
Sera would later bump in the Manji Empire, and that made Abo join the fight.
Abo was one of the five fighters invited by Murata Shougo and Maekawa Muneharu to fight against the Manji Seven.
